About me
I am a Registered Nurse with clinical experience in general nursing, peri-operative, PACU/Recovery and Dialysis.
I am a Murdoch Alumni myself, graduating in 2011 with three vice-chancellor awards for academic excellence; 2009, 2010, 2011. I undertook an international nursing placement representing Murdoch University on the inaugural clinical placement to Tanzania in my final year of nursing.
I have been employed casually at Murdoch University since 2016 supporting nursing students through Kulbardi and the school of nursing both academically and professionally. My love for teaching has evolved over the years as much of my clinical experience has involved mentorship and preceptorship of both nursing graduates and students.
I have been employed as a permanent academic with the school of nursing since 2023 and teach first year nursing. I particularly enjoy orientating our new students and fostering their curiosity about nursing and patient care.
