Dr Kylie is an experienced Senior Research Scientist and clinical trialist with a distinguished career in the hospital and health care sector. With a research focus on surgical wound care and skin integrity, Dr Kylie has led and contributed to numerous clinical trials that advance evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes, particularly in infection prevention and early detection of postoperative complications.
Skilled in clinical trial development, implementation science, and data analysis, Dr Kylie brings expertise across medical devices, biotechnology, stakeholder engagement and the improvement of health service delivery. Her work bridges innovation and practice, ensuring that research findings translate into meaningful changes in patient care.
Dr Kylie holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing and Midwifery from Curtin University, underscoring a strong academic foundation and commitment to advancing the science of health care. Recognized for both scholarly contributions and practical impact, Dr Kylie continues to shape the future of clinical research in wound care and beyond as a regularly invited keynote speaker for local and international congresses and serves on many board and advisory panels both industry and non-industry.
