About me

I have a broad range of research interests and have published on a wide range of topics on issues relating to higher education, including the role of technology in higher education, the internationalization of higher education, simulation-based learning in pre-service teacher education, pre-service professional experience, curriculum development. More recently, my research has focused on using the PRISMA framework to conduct systematic literature reviews on student wellbeing and sense of belonging.

I teach two postgraduate units: Teaching, Learning and Working in Culturally Diverse Environments (social identity theory), and Facilitating Lifelong Learning (adult learning theory). The practical and theoretical components of these units compliment the broader focus of my research and provide a strong foundation on which examine critical educational issues.
