About me

I am participating in both national and international research projects that aims to improve the sustainability of farming system by managing soil fertility and crop nutrition. I have strong interest in working the fate and transport of nutrients and pollutants in soil-plant systems and examined how the different environmental factors affect those processes.

Current research projects:

  • Studying nutrient management in intensive and conservation agriculture cropping patterns in Bangladesh under the project ‘Nutrient management for diversified cropping in Bangladesh’ which was funded by Australian Center for International Agricultural Research and the Krishi Gobeshona Foundation of Bangladesh.

  • Undertaking research to improve the quantification of plant-available potassium for soils in Western Australia, under the GRDC project ‘Increasing profit from N, P, and K fertilizer inputs into the evolving cropping sequences in the Western Region’.
