Dr. Behdad Jamshidi is a distinguished scientist specializing in AI, computer vision, and signal processing. Recognized among top global researchers by Stanford University and named a Senior Member of IEEE, he is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher (Research Fellow) at Murdoch University. He holds a PhD in Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney. Behdad has been recognized as an Exceptionally Global Talent in DigiTech by the Australian government since August 2024 and as a Highly Skilled Technology Developer by 25 EU countries through the Blue Card Program since July 2022. Furthermore, in February 2023, he was elevated to the grade of IEEE Senior Member in recognition of a decade of professional experience and contributions to artificial intelligence. From 2017 to 2021, Behdad made significant research contributions to aerospace components of NASA's Prognostics Center of Excellence (PCoE) across multiple international institutions. Behdad has authored 80+ papers, including several Highly Cited and Hot Papers, with 3000+ citations in high-ranked journals and IEEE conferences in several countries. Additionally, he has authored two book chapters and holds five IR patents granted.

Recognized as one of the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, Behdad has an impressive academic background, securing AU$1.5 million in fully-funded Ph.D. admissions in several institutions in the United States, Canada, and Australia. In addition, he has been an active researcher in several governmental grants in EU countries and Australia. Furthermore, he has been selected as a technical committee member for several flagship IEEE conferences in the field.
