About me

After gaining experience teaching secondary biology and maths, establishing professional development in relation to education technology at a range of Western Australian secondary schools, and consulting as an environmental field biologist and botanist, I began applying my skills and experience to tertiary education. First at Curtin and currently at Murdoch University.

I am an Associate Lecturer in Bioscience Education, contributing to the scholarship of teaching at Murdoch University. I am a regular contributor to the core breadth, transition and research methodology units, as well K-Track, Murdoch University’s award-winning enabling course for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders students. I also have broad teaching experience in foundational biology and anatomy for a range of science students.
