About me

I’m an ecologist, researcher and educator with a passion for understanding the natural world and how we can better protect it.

My research interests revolve around forest and fire ecology in southwest Australia. I am fascinated by how ecosystems respond to environmental change, and enjoy research that can be used to inform conservation land management.

Prior to my ecological work, I spent 15 years as an outdoor guide an educator, where I was fortunate to be able to work in amazing locations around the world. These experiences shaped the way I see and interact with the natural world around me, and I am passionate about working to conserve these natural environments into the future.
