About me

Nuttawuth (Wuth) Muenjohn is a researcher and educator at Murdoch University in Australia. He also serves as Associate Dean of Research and Innovation at Murdoch Business School.

Research

Wuth’s research aligns with his values and seeks to understand diverse perspectives. His recent research explores the evolving relationship between AI and humans, and its implications for workplace management. In particular, he examines how the adoption of AI technologies and broader digital transformation are reshaping organisational practices in the future of work to improve the experiences of both leaders and employees. He has authored and edited research works on these themes across multiple formats such as a three-volume book series on Leadership and Digital Transformation (Routledge, US), a special issue on Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace for Acta Psychologica (ABDC A), and a special issue on Human–AI Collaboration in HRM for the Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources (ABDC-A). Wuth has a strong commitment to research, as demonstrated through collaborations with international networks across countries such as Australia, the UK, the United States, China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. 

Research Supervision

Wuth has successfully mentored and supervised 19 PhD candidates to completion in Australia and has worked with students from diverse backgrounds. His PhD candidates have received numerous awards, grants, and publications, including Best Paper Conference Awards, Publication Grants, Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Student Awards, and contributions to top-tier journals. Wuth has examined over 10 Doctoral theses for Australian universities.

Teaching

Wuth's teaching methods are innovative, immersive, and student-centred. Wuth's teaching philosophy is derived from his interactions with students and colleagues as an educator and researcher, as well as his experience as an executive in the industry during his earlier career. He is committed to providing students with engaging and rewarding learning experiences and a high-quality learning environment. Wuth brings over 10 years of experience teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and in corporate education across universities in Australia, the UK, Thailand, China, and Singapore. Wuth is also a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE), accredited by the Chartered Association of Business Schools in the UK. Prior to this, he was awarded a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching & Learning from RMIT University, Australia. Wuth is completing a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) at Murdoch University.

Leadership & Engagement

At Murdoch Business School, Wuth is the Associate Dean of Research and Innovation. Previously, he served as the Head of Global and Sustainable Business Futures (GSBF) Research at the University of Bradford in the UK. He was also the Program Director for the PhD in Management program at RMIT University in Australia.

Wuth regularly engages with media and industry through his publications, such as newspapers (Focus on Asia: Can social entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment lead to sustainable economic growth?; Theoretical and Practical Research Perspectives on Organisational, managerial, and Strategic Behaviour) and industry articles (Leadership in Australian Public Sector Organisations; Artificial intelligence may take your job, so political leaders need to start doing theirs).

Wuth has contributed to the advancement of research in his field by taking on editorial leadership roles at leading journals. He is a Regional Editor for the Asia Pacific Business Review (Taylor & Francis), an Associate Editor for the Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources (Wiley), an Associate Editor for the Leadership and Organisational Development Journal (Emerald), and a Bottom Line Journal (Emerald Publishing, 2022-2024). Additionally, he has served as a Guest Editor for the International Journal of Manpower (Emerald Insight) and is on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Asian Journal of Business Research (MAG).
