About me
I am a Lecturer in Community Development and Deputy Associate Dean (International Engagement, HASS), where I co-lead global partnerships and build strategic relationships with governments and industry, and develop new international pathways and collaborations. My work focuses on belonging, identity, human capacity development, and the social dimensions of mining particularly how people and institutions create culturally safe and inclusive environments.
With working experience in global mining companies such as BHP, South32 and Rio Tinto; I bring an industry lens to my teaching, partnerships, and capacity-building programs for international organisations and government agencies. My current research explores belonging among migrants and international students, community development, human capacity development, social policy and governance learning from Africa - Australia mining collaborations.
