About me

Dr. Ramesha H. Jayaramaiah is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Murdoch University, SoilsWest, Centre for Sustainable Farming Systems. His research focuses on the plant-soil interactions, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. He studies how soil microbial communities and fauna regulate key ecosystem functions like nutrient cycling, soil health, and pest suppression, essential for sustainable agriculture. His work provides insights for improving soil fertility, crop productivity, and climate resilience. He emphasizes the critical role of belowground biodiversity in ecosystem functions and agroecosystem resilience, bridging soil biology and ecosystem management to offer solutions for sustainable agriculture.
