About me

Dr. Wakefield is a lecturer in Veterinary Pathology (Anatomic). Roy attained his veterinary degree in 2014 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, following which he spent several years in general practice in the UK before pursuing a career in veterinary pathology with a contract research organisation. Roy became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) specialising in laboratory animal pathology in 2022, and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (DACVP) in 2024.
