I am a marine biologist interested on the conservation and understanding of the form and function of marine ecosystems, from tropical coral reefs and seagrass meadows to temperate kelp forests. Currently I am researching the spatial and temporal variability of the trophic ecology of the most important groups of consumers of these ecosystems, such as fishes, cetaceans, seabirds and sharks, in collaboration with different experts in Western Australia, and how this drives ecosystem function and informs conservation and natural resource managers.
