I am a Senior Lecturer in Nursing with a strong commitment to excellence in nursing education, research, and the advancement of evidence-based clinical practice. My academic work focuses on improving healthcare outcomes through innovative nursing education, research-informed teaching, and the development of interventions that address contemporary healthcare challenges. I am passionate about preparing future nursing professionals through engaging, inclusive, and evidence-based learning experiences that integrate theoretical knowledge with clinical practice.
My research interests centre on the management of chronic conditions, cancer care, symptom management, and the development and evaluation of innovative interventions to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. I am particularly interested in translating research evidence into clinical practice, addressing the complex needs of people living with chronic and life-limiting conditions, and enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing care. My research aims to contribute to person-centred, evidence-based approaches that improve symptom experiences, support self-management, and promote better health outcomes for patients and their families.
