About me
I have diverse experience from consulting, government, and academic roles, including hydrological and hydrogeological analysis, and modelling; natural and urban water management; and spatial analysis (GIS) for sustainable engineering applications.
My academic background and professional experience provide me with a rare blend of experimental, computational, and practical expertise and have helped me cultivate and maintain strong professional networks, establishing a robust understanding of both theoretical and practical environmental and water issues.
I am passionate about addressing global water challenges like water scarcity, climate change, and safety concerns, which demand innovative, interdisciplinary solutions and integrate systems thinking, practical application, and stakeholder collaboration. As an effective presenter, I strive to maintain an engaging teaching style and design workshops that connect classroom theory with real-world application.
My research interests include environmental modelling and optimisation, sustainability in water systems, spatial and time series analysis, and planning under uncertainty. I am committed to collaborative research to benefit both society and the environment, now and into the future.
