About me
I am a Psychotherapist and Lecturer at Murdoch University Singapore, specialising in Learning, Teaching, and Psychology. My mission is to help students enhance their academic skills, achieve their academic goals, and foster their personal growth in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
With over 22 years of experience as a mental health practitioner and disability advocate, I possess the expertise and skills to teach, mentor, and inspire my students and colleagues. My core competencies include psychotherapy, coaching, educational leadership, and curriculum development. I have also designed and delivered courses on topics such as learning difficulties, special needs education, counselling skills, and educational research methods. I have facilitated professional development and training programmes for lecturers and professionals.
I have conducted and published research on the well-being of students with disabilities studying in mainstream education. I am interested in collaborating on research studies related to disability, inclusive education, wellbeing, mental health, and human resilience.
