About me
Tauel’s research focuses on the intersection of expression, technology and communication and he has examined this intersection in publications on democracy, education, live music and games.
He has authored two books Democracy in the Age of New Media (2011) and Media After Deleuze (2016), as well as numerous articles exploring public communication and agency.
This work led to him taking a leading role in research on misinformation during COVID. He continues to explore this topic and is currently researching misinformation around electric vehicles and the renewable energy transition.
Tauel is also an avid game player and has written extensively on games culture, games production and the joy of play.
