About me

Umera Imtinan is a Lecturer in Information Technology at School of Information Technology, Murdoch University. Her research interests include sustainability in Information Systems, Sustainability in AI systems, sustainability awareness in Information Systems' curriculum and mobile and blended learning. She is also keen to explore the role of cutting-edge technologies such as AI and large language models to support teaching and learning. She has received several awards for her teaching, research and contribution to the community. Umera is a member of Australian Computer Society.
