About me
My research has covered areas of land capability assessment, soil physical constraints to crop production, crop agronomy and cropping systems whilst participating in ACIAR projects in Bangladesh, Cambodia and Lao PDR. Recently my research has been directed towards:
- Improving smallholder farmers’ livelihoods through increased crop yields and crop diversification.
- Overcoming abiotic constraints to crop production, with a focus on soil physical properties, soil acidity and crop nutrition.
- Development of rapid soil assessment techniques for in field assessment and small analytical laboratories
