About me
I'm an academic and researcher specializing in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics, with a focus on visual affordance understanding using RGB-D data. I’ve co-authored papers presented at IEEE ICIP and IROS, contributing to large-scale dataset creation and transformer-based models for intelligent perception systems.
I also teach in the school of IT in Perth and co-coordinate the Foundation Program at Murdoch University in Dubai. I serve as the Unit Coordinator for ICT298 (IT Certification Pathway), guiding students in industry-relevant skills and career preparation.
My teaching spans IT, mathematics, and intercultural studies, with a strong emphasis on student engagement and inclusive education. I'm passionate about integrating research and teaching across global contexts.
I also have experience integrating the Learning Management System as I was a Learning Technologist and Technology Enhanced learning in my previous roles.
I also run the Microsoft Certification centre that we have in our Perth campus.
