Abstract
A contribution to the 20 Years of YouTube and the Youth theme week for the MediaCommons online publication In Media Res (April 23, 2025). Analyses the live performance video Manusia Buatan Live @Sumedang Edgefest 2023 by Indonesian DIY hardcore band Manusia Buatan and reflects on the intersections and contradictions between DIY values and platform capitalism in relation to the uses of YouTube by the Indonesian DIY hardcore punk scene.
