Abstract
Soil physical quality is the ability of a given soil to meet plant and ecosystem requirements for water, aeration, and strength over time and to resist and recover from processes that diminish that ability. Concepts of soil physical quality can be applied to individual soil horizons, profiles, or areas classified to a common soil type.
