Students will be able to experience the requirements of employment in an exercise science related workplace during practicum placements. Students will utilise knowledge and skills gained in previous years during supervised practicum in the area of exercise delivery for apparently healthy clients. Communication and professionalism skills will also be developed in this unit

This unit will develop students understanding of biomechanics and its application within both sport and clinical settings. It will focus on neuromuscular biomechanics and advanced biomechanical assessment techniques.

This unit teaches students principles of biomechanics and their application to human movement from both a theoretical and practical perspective. Students will develop skills in basic movement analysis. Examples are drawn from both the clinical and sporting realms.
