Mr Benjamin Nilsson

I am currently working at Murdoch University in the fields of Secondary English Education as well as having a focus on Literacy in K-12. Having only recently left the schooling system after more than 30 years' experience, I also have an interest in Teacher Education and Practice which sees me involved as an External Moderator for Teacher Experience Placements as well as being a manager for the QTPA process. My professional career has largely been spent as either a Head of Faculty of English or involved with several senior curriculum leadership roles in a variety of education systems and schools. My research investigated how Secondary English Teachers were negotiating the Asia Literacy Cross Curriculum Priority that was a part of the Australian Curriculum.
