Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL)
2023The Teacher Education Expert Standing Committee (TEESC) was established to advise the AITSL Board on the implementation, maintenance, and further development of the national approach to accreditation of the initial teacher education programs.
TEESC:
- advises the AITSL Board on the implementation, maintenance, and further development of the national approach to the accreditation of initial teacher education
- advises on reports and summaries on the accreditation process received from regulatory authorities
- advises on national responsibilities, such as panel training
- advises on other matters relating to initial teacher education requiring the attention of the AITSL Board
- ensures advice to the AITSL Board is informed by relevant stakeholders who are consulted on the operation of the system and major pieces of work.

2021The ACDE Board established The Network of Academic Directors of Professional Experience (NADPE) in 2016 to provide a collective voice and take leadership in key issues associated with professional experience.

The Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN) is the national professional association for work-integrated learning (WIL) and collaborative education. ACEN advances collaborative, quality and inclusive WIL through scholarship, partnerships, and professional learning.
