Fusing Data for Smarter Paddocks - Advancing Australian Digital Agriculture Research
Centre for Crop and Food Innovation, School of Information Technology
Sensor fusion is critical for advancing precision agriculture in Australian broadacre farming. While significant work is being done by some Australian research organisations, several research gaps remain. These gaps often relate to the unique challenges of large-scale, diverse Australian environments and the practical adoption of these technologies by farmers. By not fully addressing the unique challenges of Australian broadacre environments, this limits the widespread adoption and effectiveness of sensor fusion systems
