About me

Dr Eleanor Zhai is a lecturer in Human Resource Management (HRM) at the College of Business, Murdoch University. Her research interest focuses on how strategic HRM influences individual/organisational performance and competitiveness, particularly through the mediating mechanisms of employees’ positive psychological resources. The roles of HRM in facilitating cross-border innovation ecosystems, improving corporate social responsibilities, and caring for employee well-being in today's changing industrial and global environments are also within her research scope. Her publications appear in journals such as Human Resource Management Review, Applied Psychology, Personnel Review, International Journal of Manpower, and Journal of Management & Organisation. Before joining academia, she accumulated extensive work experience in the industry and public sectors as a senior HR manager and analyst.
