Investigation of Cyber Attack Impact in DER Integrated Power System Network
School of Engineering and Energy
2024–2027This project aims to comprehensively investigate the effects of catastrophic concurrent cyberattacks in a Distributed Energy Resources (DER)-enriched power system network and intends to employ a new preventative power system distribution modelling technique for cyber-attack resiliency. The proposed research methodology employs the development of an MV/LV power distribution network with renewable energy integration and distributed energy resources.

2022–2024The project focuses on the development of cost-effective and sustainable methods for hydrogen production, incorporating 100% renewable sources. A key aspect of the project involves the seamless integration of hydrogen production, storage, and power generation into a unified and compact setup/unit. Customizable modular configurations were developed to cater to diverse applications, from small-scale residential units to large-scale industrial installations.
