About me

Guillermo Campitelli obtained a degree in psychology at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), a PhD in Psychology in The University of Nottingham (United Kingdom), and has worked as a researcher or lecturer in other universities in the UK and in Argentina. In Australia, he held appointments at Edith Cowan University (2010-2019) and Murdoch University (2019-now). His research has been published in top international psychological journals such as Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Current Directions in Psychological Science, Human Brain Mapping, Developmental Psychology.

Guillermo Campitelli has conducted research in the areas of expertise and decision making. He is interested in the cognitive processes such as memory, imagery, thinking, that happen before people make decisions. His research areas are expertise, decision making, and Bayesian reasoning, Bayesian inference. He is the co-founder and co-Editor of the Journal of Expertise.
