About me

I am an Agricultural Biotechnologist, with interest in Soil Parasitology. I study interaction of plants with soil parasites (e.g. nematodes) and how the relationship affects crop productivity.

I use molecular and Next Generation Sequencing techniques to study the genetics and mechanisms of the interaction between plants and the parasites and, employ New Genetic Technologies such as RNA Interference and Gene Editing to improve the resilience of important crops to the effects of the parasites.

I have immense experience in Agricultural Biotechnology research and development in both academia and industry.
