About me

I conduct comparative research on academic performance and segregation between schools, regions, sectors, and cultures, aiming to gain valuable insights into how education systems across different cultures and structures can be improved and made more equitable, effective, and efficient.

I also work on projects related to critical thinking, well-being, and the application of artificial intelligence in teaching and research. My strong interest and proficiency in various research methods and techniques, including quantitative methods, R, QCA, NCA, and the fundamentals of AI, drive my commitment to staying up to date with the latest advancements in my field.

I am interested in projects on the topics of large-scale assessments in education (especially PISA), education equity, effectiveness and efficiency, International Baccalaureate (IB) education, critical thinking, and concept-based curriculum and instruction, or using set-theoretic approaches (especially QCA).

I teach post-graduate courses on research foundations and international education.
