About me

Shuang received her undergraduate and honours degrees in Cyber Security from Murdoch University. She is an Associate Lecturer in Information Technology at Murdoch University. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students in the areas of cyber security and networking.

Shuang has experience working in large Australian industries, mainly in Cyber Security. She has contributed to enhancing security measures and protocols and identifying security weaknesses in large organizations. Her research expertise and interests include cyber security and AI (e.g. for securing healthcare systems), network security, and data security for the Internet of Things (IoT). She is the recipient of the 2023 ACS WA 1962 Prize Awards.
