About me

My research journey has been highly multidisciplinary. I am a chemist who has worked within biomedical/pharmaceutical fields primarily and have developed an appreciably unique skillset. I am formally trained as both a chemist and biologist and continue to work at this interface of these scientific disciplines most prominently. I like to showcase the relevance of chemistry to broader fields of study, particularly the life sciences. By understanding the abstract and minute functions of atoms and molecules we better understand life and all the things around us. I pursue the work that interests me and affords me the opportunities to be creative. My career as a scientist provides me exactly that.
