About me
I view accounting as a discipline that extends beyond numerical analysis; it is a dynamic field where ethics, decision-making, and human behaviour are integral. This perspective has significantly influenced my academic and professional journey as both a lecturer and a researcher.
Prior to my current role at Murdoch University, I was a PhD candidate and sessional academic at the institution. I also held a full-time position as an accounting lecturer at a private university in Indonesia, where I was involved in teaching and curriculum development.
As an active researcher, I have been awarded multiple research grants and have published in a peer-reviewed journal, with several working papers currently under review. My research focuses on areas such as behavioural accounting, judgment and decision-making in accounting, business ethics, as well as financial and non-financial reporting. I am particularly interested in exploring how psychological and contextual factors shape ethical behaviour and reporting practices within organisations.
