Dataset
Manipulating barley phenology to maximise yield potential (genotype datasets)
Date collected 30/06/2017–01/01/2023
Genotype datasets in variant call format (vcf) and raw read sequences generated from the GRDC-funded project Manipulating barley phenology to maximise yield potential
Dataset
Date collected 01/03/2017–30/10/2020
This collection comprises phenotype data collected from field trials in Wongan Hills, Merredin, Williams, and Perth from 2017 to 2019. For each trial, the phenotypic data including yield, grain width, grain thickness, grain length, thousand-grain weight, and flowering date were collected. There is also multi-environment trial analysis data which is spatially adjusted to determine genotype, year, and location effects. These results were outputs of the GRDC-funded project GRS (Calum Watt) - Determining the genetic control of grain size and heat stress tolerance during flowering in barley (UMU1903-003RSX).
Dataset
Date collected 01/03/2017–30/10/2020
This collection contains genetic marker data, gel-based and KASP genotyping results of the Vlamingh x Buloke DH population. These were outputs of the GRDC-funded project GRS (Calum Watt) - Determining the genetic control of grain size and heat stress tolerance during flowering in barley (UMU1903-003RSX).
Dataset
Date collected 30/06/2016–01/01/2023
The datasets containing multiple phenotypic traits (including grain weight, plant height, and grain plumpness at different screening levels) collected from 2017 to 2019 across multiple field trials across Western Australia. These datasets were outputs of the GRDC funded project UMU00049.
Dataset
Improved Adaption of Barley to Acid Soils (phenotype datasets)
Date collected 01/01/2015–01/01/2023
The datasets containing multiple phenotypic traits (including grain weight, plant height, germination rate, and grain plumpness) collected from 2015 to 2019 in multiple field trials across Western Australia. These datasets were outputs of the GRDC-funded project Improved Adaption of Barley to Acid Soils (UMU00046).
Dataset
Manipulating barley phenology to maximise yield potential (environment datasets)
Date collected 30/06/2014–01/01/2023
Environment data including temperature, humidity and soil composition collected from Perth, Geraldton, Katanning, Merredin and Esperance from 2014 to 2016. This dataset is an output of the GRDC funded project Manipulating barley phenology to maximise yield potential

Date collected 30/06/2014–01/01/2023
Phenotype datasets collected from 823 barley accessions; grown in Perth, Geraldton, Katanning, Merredin and Esperance from 2014 to 2016. This dataset is an output of the GRDC-funded project Manipulating barley phenology to maximise yield potential (UMU00050).
Dataset
Barley chromosome 7H sequencing data
Date collected 01/12/2013–30/06/2016
This collection contains raw reads and filtered results of the Barley chromosome 7H sequences. The data includes sequences of 8,521 clones with an average length of 122,000 base pairs covering chromosome 7H. A gold standard chromosome sequence was assembled with a total length of 664 million base pairs. The gold standard barley genome sequences enable breeders to significantly reduce the time taken to develop new high-performance barley varieties tailored to local environments.
